In 2027, Hilton Chicago will celebrate its centennial anniversary. When the hotel first opened on May 2, 1927, as the Stevens Hotel, it was the largest hotel in the world, featuring 3,000 guest rooms, a 27-chair barber shop, pharmacy, candy shop, five-lane bowling alley, 1,200-seat movie theatre, and even an 18-hole miniature golf course on the roof.
Nearly a century later, the grandeur remains. Thoughtfully restored and reimagined, the hotel continues to blend historic elegance with the modern comforts today’s travelers expect.
