With Carbonara, timing is everything. We finish our Carbonara table-side, incorporating the yolk at the final moment for the perfect balance of richness and texture.
The sauce comes together from just a few ingredients, but the margin for error is small. Too much heat and the egg scrambles. Too little and the sauce never reaches the silky texture.

We’re continuing our celebration of our Taste of Italy menu with our 30-Month Prosciutto di Parma.
Which comes from the legendary Devodier family, founding members of the Consorzio del Prosciutto di Parma. With centuries of mastery, they cure each ham for 30 months in a unique subterranean microclimate to achieve its signature, melt-on-the-tongue texture. Public Transport:
- Take the Brown Line or Purple Line train to the Merchandise Mart station
- Walk about 5 minutes east towards the river and turn right onto Orleans St
- Walk another 5 minutes south on Orleans St until you reach W Illinois St
- The Italian restaurant will be on your left
Driving/Parking:
- Take I-90/94 to exit 50B for Ohio St
- Continue on Ohio St for about 0.7 miles
- Turn left onto Orleans St and continue for about 0.1 miles

- There is a parking garage located at 300 W Kinzie St that is nearby and provides convenient parking for the area
