This is a mini-documentary featuring Haitian born and Miami native, Steve Duroseau as the centerpiece to the film.

Through extensive interviews and use of client stories, Kala highlights
human connectivity and the powerful impact barbering has within the Chicago community and beyond. This documentary highlights his success through a diversified high-end client-base and in turn we follow the influence and craft of barbering, technology and innovation in the black and BIPOC community.

From downtown Chicago, take the Blue Line to the Logan Square station. Exit and walk north on Milwaukee Ave until you reach Elston Ave. Take a left on Elston Ave and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the coffee shop.

If driving, take I-90/94 West and exit onto Addison St. Turn right onto Milwaukee Ave and then left onto Belmont Ave. Turn right onto Elston Ave and the coffee shop will be on your left-hand side. Parking is available in a small lot next to the coffee shop as well as street parking nearby.
