Chicago, we’re collecting. 🇨🇴
Our friends Axel Axel Vega and Laura Laura Clavijo Ramirez , part of our coffee community here in Chicago, have family in Colombia helping get supplies directly to people and animals in affected communities.
Right now, they’ve asked specifically for medical and veterinary supplies, so Magnífico will be a collection point here in Chicago.
Laura’s mom will be traveling to Colombia on August 29 and taking donations with her. They’re also coordinating with Macro Envíos, who is helping send additional donated supplies to Colombia free of charge.
Swipe to see what’s currently needed.
DROP OFF AT MAGNÍFICO
Now through August 28
New, unopened items only.
Even one item helps. Bring it by the café and we’ll help get it where it needs to go.
Mil gracias, Chicago. 🇨🇴❤️

Another way to help Colombia’s coffee-growing communities. 🇨🇴
Siruma Coffee Siruma Coffee® is one of our green coffee partners in Colombia. Their coffee has been part of Magnífico since day 1, and we’re proud to now stand behind the work they’re doing for coffee-growing communities at origin.
Together with Fundación Apuna Apuna Foundation , they’ve launched Together for Origin, a relief fund supporting smallholder coffee farmers and their families affected by the earthquake as they begin to rebuild.
They already have the relationships and infrastructure on the ground to get support directly to the communities that need it, so our role is simple: amplify & support their work, and invite our beatiful Magnífico community to join us.
We’ve contributed, and if you’re looking for another way to help, you can donate directly through their relief fund. Link in bio.
Mil gracias, Siruma + Fundación Apuna, for doing the work.

The last few days, we’ve been talking with our friends and coffee partners in Colombia to understand where we can actually help following the earthquake.
Right now, communities across Colombia, including our coffee community, need our support.
We’ll be sharing a few specific ways to help, from supporting coffee-growing families who have lost their homes to donating supplies and supporting organizations & friends already doing the work on the ground.
If you’re able to give now, please do. For now, we’ve included a few organizations our family has chosen to support as we continue to find more ways to help.
We’re continuing to figure out where we can be most useful. And we’re incredibly grateful that our families are safe. Thank you for those who checked-in.
Mil gracias. 🇨🇴💛💙❤️
