After 9 memorable years, we’re sad to announce that Serai will be closing on Sunday, December 29, 2024. This was a a heart-wrenching and tough decision, but one made with love and gratitude for all the support we’ve received. 💛
To our neighbors, customers, and community: thank you for embracing us and Malaysian cuisine. Serai was more than a restaurant—it’s been a place of community, culture, and connection. The friendships, memories, and connections we’ve built will always be cherished.
Though our physical space is closing, Serai’s spirit lives on. We’ll continue online delivery and invite you to experience Malaysian flavors at Kapitan as we plan our next chapter.
Share your favorite Serai memories in the comments! For questions, email [email protected].
This isn’t goodbye—it’s “see you later.”
