In a previous life, Anna Ong was an accountant. Today, she’s the heart behind Anna’s Thai Kitchen, recently named 2025’s Best Thai Restaurant in Chicago.
Surprisingly, Anna isn’t a trained chef, but a rather considers herself a home cook who draws from her mother’s traditional recipes. Beyond the food, what stands out most is her warmth. For Anna, the most rewarding part of running a restaurant in Ravenswood is the connections she builds with the people that come through her door. She fosters an environment of inclusivity that extends to the menu's offerings, which includes vegetarian, vegan, halal and GF dishes.

To make sure our team is fully prepped to serve you the best Thai flavors in Chicago, we are moving our Friday opening time to 4:00 PM.
Starting this week April 3rd, our Friday hours are:
• 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM 🥢
Whether you're craving our signature Panang curry or some fresh noodles to kick off the weekend, we’ll be ready for the dinner rush!

We're thrilled to announce that we've completed a full refresh of Anna's Thai Kitchen—inside and out!
Over the last few months, we've given our space a serious glow-up:
On the Outside: Say hello to our bright new yellow facade and sleek black awning! We're easier to spot than ever.
On the Inside (Updated last July): Enjoy your meal in our newly updated dining room featuring fresh decor, lighting, decorative ceiling tiles amd fresh painted.
It’s the same authentic, delicious Thai cuisine you've always loved, now served in a vibrant, refreshed atmosphere.
