In loving memory of our dear father, George Sakkas, who peacefully left us at 90 on 12/27/23. A remarkable man, he was not just a father but a husband, son, brother, and cherished papou. His absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt. Funeral service details to follow. 🕊️

We may not be around, but other places are serving up some good Greek food! Give them a try.
Chicagoland is littered with neighborhood gyro joints, and our Hungry Hound says most of them offer only beef or lamb from the vertical spit.

To our dearest customers/supporters,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce we will be closing our doors for good on Sunday, October 30th. Unfortunately with the increase in rent, property taxes and the general cost of operating a small family business in Chicago, we can no longer afford to stay open. The past 2 1/2 years have been an adventure that we will never forget. We are extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to bring back our homemade gyros and introduce you to some of our own unique gems. We will miss you all dearly.
We sincerest gratitude,
Dino and Jessi Sakkas
