For the May Tavern Takeover, we’re bringing it back to our own kitchens by partnering with Chef Victor Joya of WG Pizzas and Chef Ramiro Tolentino of Alex’s Washington Gardens. Both pizzas will be available at each of our locations.
Chef Victor’s Elote Pizza evokes the flavors of Mexican street corn, with a Garlic Butter Sauce, Roasted Corn and Poblano Peppers, Mozzarella, Cotija, Tajin, Cilantro, Scallions, and a Chipotle Aioli Drizzle. 🌽🌶️🧄
Chef Ramiro’s Poblano Chicken Pizza lets the namesake pepper, native to Mexico, shine with a Poblano Pepper Sauce, Shredded Chicken, Corn, Bell Pepper, Red Onion, Roasted Poblano Pepper, Queso Chihuahua, Cilantro, and a Sour Cream Drizzle. 🫑🧀🐓
Both pizzas show the talents and creativity of our own chefs and both are perfect for the transition into warmer weather.
