A CENTURY OF CHILI, FAMILY & TRADITION!
We were featured on NewsNation in celebration of National Chili Week!
Our story began back in 1925, when Mary Bishop refused to compromise on her famous chili recipe. After losing her job at Ole's Chili over a disagreement about changing that recipe, she decided to take matters into her own hands and opened Bishop's Chili on Chicago's West Side.
Little did she know, her determination would create a family legacy that would last for generations!
101 years later, we're still doing what Grandma Bishop started, serving up the chili that has brought families, friends, and communities together for generations.
Being recognized on national television is an incredible honor, but what means the most to us is the loyalty and support of our customers. Some of you have been enjoying Bishop's Chili for decades, and we're grateful to be part of your family's traditions.

Today is a special day.... your grandparents, parents, and your favorite chili will be featured on News Nation Live with Keleigh Beeson at 545pm tonight. So either tune in at home for some history or take a seat with us and watch both Bishop's Famous Chili and then the White Sox vs Guardians at 7pm. We'll see you here, cheers.

Well Sox fans we made it!! Game 1 White Sox vs the Guardians Saturday with the first pitch at noon. So grab yourself a stool and a bowl to watch it here, or take a few qts home to watch with the family. A Chicago win is a win for all of Chicago.

Well... let's see if our 3rd string QB Case Keenum can lead us to victory on Monday. Since we are closed Mondays pre-order those game day qts now and pick them up Saturday or Sunday or you'll be left on the sidelines.

To get to the American restaurant and pub on N Cass Avenue in Westmont, there are two options.
Option 1 - Public transport:
Take the Metra BNSF Line and get off at Westmont Station. From there, walk east on Burlington Avenue towards N Cass Avenue. Turn right onto N Cass Ave and continue for about 5 minutes until you arrive at your destination.
Option 2 - Driving/parking:
From I-55, take exit 274 for Kingery Highway/83 N. Continue on 83 N for about 2 miles then turn left onto E Ogden Ave. After about a mile, turn right onto S Richmond Ave then turn left onto W Quincy St. Finally, turn right onto N Cass Ave and the restaurant will be on your left-hand side.
There is plenty of street parking available along N Cass Ave as well as a public parking lot just north of the restaurant.
