It might have been warm out today but the rest of the weekend will be perfect Bishop's Famous Chili chili weather. So stop in have a bowl or 4 and take a qt home, after all we are closed Sundays and Mondays for the summer.

We know what you're thinking, chili isnt a St. Patrick's day dish, its all about corned beef and cabbage, or soda bread, or shepards pie..... but what about the day after?? Losing that hour last night was rough but not as rough and dealing with a cool day without a bowl of Bishop's Famous Chili. We'll only be open for 3 more Sundays and then on March 29th we will be hosting our annual "show us yours" chili cookoff. So maybe sample a quart or 2 of ours before you finalize your recipe.

To get to the American restaurant and pub on N Cass Avenue in Westmont, there are two options.
Option 1 - Public transport:
Take the Metra BNSF Line and get off at Westmont Station. From there, walk east on Burlington Avenue towards N Cass Avenue. Turn right onto N Cass Ave and continue for about 5 minutes until you arrive at your destination.
Option 2 - Driving/parking:
From I-55, take exit 274 for Kingery Highway/83 N. Continue on 83 N for about 2 miles then turn left onto E Ogden Ave. After about a mile, turn right onto S Richmond Ave then turn left onto W Quincy St. Finally, turn right onto N Cass Ave and the restaurant will be on your left-hand side.
There is plenty of street parking available along N Cass Ave as well as a public parking lot just north of the restaurant.
