Today was a very special day for our first Gobble Doggs Youth Entrepreneurship Cohort.
These incredible students didn’t just learn about business — they built one.
They created products, learned how to speak to customers, asked for the sale, and worked together as a team. The result?
🎉 They SOLD OUT of their items.
Because of their hard work, the students raised $157.50 which they proudly presented today to South Suburban PADS to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
Today we celebrated their success with:
✔️ Their final affirmations as young entrepreneurs
✔️ Certificates of Achievement
✔️ A special oversized check presentation
✔️ Seed money ($10 each) to start their next business idea
✔️ A Gobble Doggs lunch and cupcakes to celebrate their hard work
These students proved something powerful:

Last week I asked each of our young entrepreneurs one simple question:
“What are two things you learned from this program?”
Their answers were powerful.
Many of them talked about learning how to create and market their own products. But what surprised me most was how many of them said the same thing…
Confidence.
Confidence to stand in front of customers.
Confidence to explain their ideas.
Confidence to ask for the sale.
Confidence to believe in themselves.
Over the past few weeks these students went from simply having an idea… to building a product, marketing it, and selling out at their marketplace.
That kind of growth is incredible to watch.
Entrepreneurship isn’t just about business. It’s about helping young people discover what they’re capable of.
And these kids showed us exactly that.
