Founded in 2007, the Hyde Park Jazz Festival is celebrating its 20th edition this weekend (September 26–27, 2026). It was built to honor and celebrate the rich history of jazz on Chicago's South Side. ​Spanning iconic neighborhood venues and outdoor stages across Hyde Park and the Midway Plaisance, the free, community centered event brings together world-class jazz legends, rising local stars, and thousands of music lovers for a weekend of swing, bebop, and modern sounds.

The KTM Kitchen opened it's door in 2025 offering hand-made, freshly cooked MoMo inspired by Nepalese cusine alongside a full bar highlighting Nepalese flavors, cocktails, and spices. The KTM Kitchen showcases modern Nepali and Indian cuisine, bringing bold spices and Himalayan inspired flavors to the diverse World Dumpling Fest lineup.

​Organized by the Chicago Cultural Alliance, this unique festival highlights the incredible diversity of Chicago by focusing on one universally beloved food: dumplings. Found in nearly every cuisine around the globe, dumplings serve as the perfect symbol of cultural connection, bringing people together over shared flavors and traditions. But World Dumpling Fest is more than just a food festival. The event also showcases dozens of live performances representing a wide array of Chicago's cultural communities.
