As we gather for Brunch and Balance, we come together to nourish both the body and the spirit. This gathering also takes place during Minority Stress Awareness Month, a time to acknowledge the unique emotional, social, and mental pressures that many people in marginalized communities experience. These stressors can impact our well-being, our sense of identity, and our connection to peace within ourselves.
This is where the Soul Star Chakra, known as the Seat of the Soul, invites us into a higher awareness. Located just above the crown of the head, this powerful energy center is believed to connect us to divine wisdom, spiritual clarity, and our greater life purpose. When we focus on aligning this energy, we open ourselves to healing beyond the physical and emotional layers of stress.
Today’s gathering is about creating a safe and uplifting space where we can pause, reflect, and reconnect with our higher selves. Through intentional conversation, mindfulness, and spiritual alignment, we honor the resilience within our communities while also allowing ourselves the grace to release stress and restore balance.

I am a Community Health Worker and Chef devoted to healing that honors the whole human experience — mind, body, spirit, creativity, and lived reality. My work centers on guiding people back into balance through Human Design, trauma-informed education, and embodied practices that recon⁸⁸nIect you to your truth.
Through this experience, I speak on healing yourself by understanding your unique Human Design and how informed trauma lives, moves, and releases within the body. Healing is not just intellectual — it is felt, expressed, and integrated.
I facilitate ecstatic dance meditation, not simply as movement, but as a practice of liberation. I explain the purpose, the science, and the spiritual grounding of ecstatic dance so participants understand why the body moves the way it does and how movement becomes medicine.
