Big Ed Nation!!!!! Today is an extra special day because it's my baby boy's birthday! Words can not express how much I LOVE you and cherish the relationship that we have develolped over the years. Fighting back tears as I write this because I knew how much God truly loves me because he gave me a son like you! I LOVE you son with my whole heart! Happy birthday baby boy!

My dad taught me how to cook. He passed away of lung cancer when I was just 19 years old and he never got to see me in the restaurant, he never got to meet his gradkids and it's the day before Father's Day and I am missing him liek crazy! If you still have your dad in your life, tell him you Love him and hug him a little tighter today because you are blessed to have him in your life. I'd give anything in the world to have my dad walk through doors of this restaurant so that I could hug him and tell him how much I LOVE him!

We met in corporate America almost thirty years ago! When I decided to open up the restaurant, you were the first person to step up with your time and money! There would literally be NO Big Ed's BBQ without all of the sacrifices you've made over the years.

To get to Northpoint Boulevard in Waukegan, one can take the Metra train to the Waukegan Station and then take a bus or taxi to the destination. Alternatively, if driving, take I-94 and exit at IL-131 N/Green Bay Rd. Turn left onto Buckley Rd and then right onto Northpoint Blvd. There is parking available on the street or in nearby lots.
