Cakebread Cellar's winemaker and Illinois native, Niki Williams, will be here for a meet and greet followed by a 4 course dinner. This is going to be a wonderful night and tickets are limited! We hope that everyone had a wonderful summer and thank you spending some of that time here at The Lawn! Fall is approaching and we have a few fun things that we would like to share with you.
Upcoming Events
Wine Tasting Friday September 19th: Come and hang out with Colin Gordon, the winemaker of Bydand Wines. Colin will be pouring 5 of his California wines and we will have fun burger pairings along with other menu items to go along with the wines. This is a casual meet and greet evening that will take place during our normal dinner service. We will have complimentary tastes of the wines and it will be available to purchase. Reservations are recommended and this
will start at 6pm.
Oktoberfest Celebration, Saturday September 20th: Join us starting at 3pm as we throw a fun Oktoberfest celebration. We will be roasting a beautiful pig from Frillman Farms with the help of Dave and Denise Zier of Zier's Prime Meats! The event is free to attend and we will have food and drinks available to purchase. The menu consists of assorted grilled sausages, German Cubano sandwiches, Benton's potato salad, soft pretzels, roasted beet & apple salad,
and of course a roasted pig!
We will also having stein holding competitions, pretzel toss and beer barrel racing!
This event is open to all ages.

To get to Fairway Drive in Wilmette, you can take the public transport. The closest stop is located at the intersection of Linden and Green Bay Road (Metra North Central Service). From there, you can take a cab or walk to your destination.
Alternatively, if you prefer to drive, you can take the I-94 exit at Old Orchard Rd and then head east towards Skokie Blvd. Turn right onto Skokie Blvd and continue on it until you reach Wilmette Ave - make a left turn onto it. Proceed straight until you reach Green Bay Road. Turn right onto Green Bay Road and then make an immediate left turn onto Fairway Drive.
There is no designated parking lot for The Lawn Restaurant at The Wilmette Golf Club, but there should be ample parking spaces along Fairway Drive or nearby streets.
