With everything happening in Chicago and the rise of teen takeovers, now is the perfect time to invest in your teen’s future by helping them learn valuable life skills in a fun, engaging environment.
Join Chef Kathryn, Chef and Owner of Kathryn’s Soul, for a hands-on culinary experience designed to build confidence, responsibility, creativity, and kitchen skills that last a lifetime.
Ages 13–17
What Teens Will Learn:
✅ Kitchen safety and sanitation
✅ Basic cooking techniques
✅ Meal preparation and presentation
✅ Teamwork and communication skills
✅ Confidence and independence in the kitchen
✅ Life skills they can use for years to come

To get to the restaurant located on N Clinton in Chicago, you can take the CTA Blue line to the UIC-Halsted Station. From there it is a short walk east on Harrison St and then north on Morgan St until you reach the restaurant.
If you are driving, you can take I-290 East and exit at Ashland Ave. From there, turn left onto W Harrison St and continue until you reach N Morgan St. Turn right onto N Morgan St and continue until you see the restaurant. There is street parking available in the area but it might be limited during peak hours so plan accordingly.
