We're celebrating the warmer weather and Easter holiday with some of our favorite citrus flavors. Light and sweet they are perfect after brunch, dinner, or any time of day.

🗓️Effective Monday March 30 to May 31, Mickii's in-store shopping will only be open Saturday and Sunay noon-4pm.

Why?

Well, to be honest, in-store sales have never been a strong moneymaker. They are fantastic for getting to chat with you, our customers, catch up on what's going on with your families, hearing your unfiltered (and often super positive feedback), and generally getting to see you in a calmer setting. But they don't bring in the kind of funds we need to keep things running.

We'll be using the closed hours to seek out catering, corporate, and general special events orders (need something to celebrate the start of baseball season? We're here!) as well as pursuing additional revenue streams.

🗓️Effective June 1 through the end of October, in-store shopping will be closed entirely for the summer market season. Mickii's goods can be purchased at the following confirmed markets:
🍊Glenwood Sunday Market - 9am to 2pm - Sundays starting June 7
🍊Edgewater Monday Market - 3pm to 7pm - Mondays starting June 1
🍊Farmer at the Green - midday - Tuesdays starting June 2

We are also working with Wild Onion Co-Op Grocery Store on Clark & Lunt to get a few items on their shelves as well as working with additional popup event markets in and around the neighborhood and city to meet you where you are.

Please know, this decision did not come to us easily. We're not just in this business for money and closing the door in this way hits hard. We appreciate each and every one of you more than you can ever know and every time you stop in just to say hi, every time you tell us you thought of us on the train, or told a friend about our treats, we are moved. We never thought we could get this far and we are humbled and grateful everyday by every one of you.

But a business, unfortunately, does need to look at finances once in a while to make things work and we have to accept that right now and do what we can to clear up our debts and increase our liquidity.

We look forward to chatting with you on the weekends and at the sun-filled summer markets and events.

⚒️👷🏾‍♀️ SOUP AND SWEET IS GETTING A REVAMP👷🏾‍♀️⚒️

After 2 great winter seasons with our Soup & Sweet event we're giving it an overhaul to bring it more in line with plans we have for Mickii's overall future.

What's that mean? As of right now, it's on hiatus while we work out logistics as well as prep for spring events and season.

North Side Restaurant Week has officially kicked off and to celebrate we're entering every reservation into an exclusive raffle! One lucky winner will wrap up North Side Restaurant Week with a 10-inch Lemon Glazed Bundt Cake - on us!*

Choose from our lunch or dinner seatings up through Sunday, March 8, 2026 and enjoy a filling pre fixe meal in our transformed dine-in experience.

Lend a Hand to Mickiis: A GoFundMe

If you follow us on social media, you've already heard, but things are a little tough at Mickii's.

While the business is looking up overall, we are still in the red due to loans and credit card debit acquired to open and sustain our first hard months, severe losses at a summertime convention that netted less than quarter of what we put in, and the hospitalization of Mickii’s daughter over the holiday season. We've already been blessed with over 75% of our $8,000 goal but without the full amount to make it next month, it's very likely the shop will close.

While donations are a direct way of helping, we know times are hard for lots of folks right now, so we're happy if you simply share the word, leave a review online, tell a friend about us, or just send us a message of good luck and well wishes.

Whatever you do, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
