District Kitchen & Tap was a bar and grill, as well as a pizza place, which focused on building a community atmosphere. The restaurant featured communal seating, 14 beer taps, live music and wood-fired cooking. Their tag line was "phones down-bottoms up." Located on Harrison Street in Oak Park, Illinois, District Kitchen & Tap offered wood-fired pizza, sandwiches, salads and fried chicken legs. In addition to great food, they had a large live music program. Unfortunately, this business is permanently closed.

To get to the location at Harrison in Oak Park, you can take the Green Line train and get off at the Harlem/Lake station.
