To get to East 55th Street in Chicago by public transport, you can take the CTA bus 6 or the Metra Electric District train to the 53rd Street station. From there, it's a short walk east to East 55th Street.
If you prefer to drive, parking is available on the street or at nearby parking lots for a fee. Take Lake Shore Drive and exit at 47th Street. Head west on 47th Street until you reach Cottage Grove Avenue, then turn left and continue until you reach East 55th Street.
