An honor we won’t soon forget.
This past week, I had the pleasure of serving guests at the James Beard Media Awards reception in a room full of people who live and breathe food.
We made Desi velour — cardamom mousse, carrot-cashew halwa, saffron rice crumble. Our signature item that combines the three cultures( Indian, French, American) that shaped my culinary journey.
Thanks to Aqeel Wahiduddin, Gonzalez Cristine Morgan Brown Kendall College at NLU volunteers for the hardwork they brought to every detail. Couldn’t have done it without you.

We’re honored & proud to share this recognition from , naming Verzênay among the top French bakeries in the U.S.
To be included alongside such remarkable bakeries is deeply meaningful to us. These are artisans we have long admired for their craft, creativity, and for the standard they continue to set for French baking in America. It is a language we speak in our own kitchen each day.
Congratulations to every bakery included on this list!
This recognition belongs to our entire team, our farmers and vendors, and every guest who has supported Verzênay from our early days to where we are today for helping us build something we are truly proud of.
