Hi Jazz Consortium Friends & Fans,
I am happy to announce that "Chicago's favorite strolling violinist" Jennifer Silk Vombrack will be entertaining audience members at the Jazz Consortium Big Band's Mother's Day performance this Sunday, 6pm, at Durty Nellie's in Palatine. Jennifer will be serenading and taking requests from moms (and everyone!) on our breaks, so we hope you can join us for a musically delightful evening!
Huntley High School's Jazz Ensemble will open for us. SEATING IS LIMITED, so make reservations now (by PHONE ONLY) at 847.358.9150. Durty Nellie's is at 180 N. Smith St., in downtown Palatine. Cover charge $10 cash adults, $5 students 17 & under. Free parking. Doors open 5pm. Food service until 7pm, and beverage service all evening.

Join us for a fun evening of music, dancing, and friendship at the 2026 Midlothian Scottish Pipe Band Concert & Ceilidh Night on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 4PM - 8PM. This is one of the major ways The Band raises funds to supply uniforms, drums, reeds, etc.
We hope you will join us and show your support, or consider a donation! The night will include performances by: -Traditional Session Band -Chicago Celtic Pipe Band -Midlothian, including the debut of our new competition medley.

1. From downtown Chicago, take the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line towards Harvard and get off at the Palatine station.
2. Once you exit the station, head south on N Smith Street. Durty Nellie's will be on your left.
Driving/Parking:
1. If you're coming from downtown Chicago, take I-90 W towards Rockford.
2. Take exit 68A for IL-53 N toward NW Suburbs/Arlington Heights.
3. Continue on IL-53 N and take the Euclid Avenue exit.
4. Turn right onto E Euclid Avenue and continue straight until you reach N Smith Street.
5. Durty Nellie's will be on your left-hand side.
