Yes, we have been frustrated in this season.
Approaching 5 months since being closed, there have been many times where we’ve wanted to give up - to declare it dead and done.
But we keep in mind the vision that came with founding 5 Loaves Eatery.
We’ve experience God’s miracles before, and we EXPECT to see them again in this season and beyond.
We believe that God is using this setback, to set us up for greater breakthrough 🙏🏾
We believe that our test will be turned into a testimony for others to believe and see how the Lord makes a way out of no way.
We claim the words of Pastor Todd - “Even now, He wants to restore your business”
We claim and declare that restoration is coming! Thank you for everyone who has been with us, supported us, prayed for us and donated during this season of darkness and uncertainty.

Yesterday as we did a search for “5 Loaves Eatery” we came across this article written by Block Club Chicago in 2018.
As we’ve shared before, this isn’t our first time shutting down due to something out of our control. However, it is our first time asking for assistance from our guest so that we can bounce back.
We’ve experienced fires and theft - bumps in the road that left us wondering if we’d be able to provide for our family or community.
But every time we’ve been knocked down, we’ve gotten back up, dusted ourselves off and got back to work.
This time we got knocked down a little harder and need more of a helping hand to stand back up but we promise that we’re continuing to work behind the scenes to keep the vision of 5 Loaves Eatery alive.
As we continue to do our part, please continue donating and spreading the word.
We need the same supportive guests who have shown up for a good meal in the past, to show up for us now so we can welcome you to your home away from home once again.
