What an honor it was to be a part of the Obama Presidential Center’s opening festivities. A celebration this big wouldn’t be complete without a giant Eli’s Cheesecake! The words from President Obama’s 50th anniversary Selma speech decorate the cake and are also reflected on the exterior of the Obama Presidential Center.
What does the cake say?

Great to see NPR’s Scott Simon at the Chicago stop of his book tour for his newest work : ULYSSES S. CAT and Other Animals I Have Known. Among the marvelous animals who have crossed his path, is the imaginary Stripey, whose favorite dessert is Eli’s Cheesecake. Don’t you love animals with great taste?
