The Mofongo of the month has been a hit!!! it's called El chuletón, an 8oz center cut pork chop crowning a Tri-fongo (made with yuca, green & sweet plantains) topped with an escabeche de pimiento morrón.

For those looking to get to W. Fullerton Avenue in Chicago to visit a Latin American or Caribbean restaurant, there are a few transportation options available.
Public transport: Take the CTA bus line 74 or 76 and get off at the Fullerton & Elston stop. From there, walk west on Fullerton Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach your destination.
Driving/parking: If driving, take I-90/94 and exit at Armitage Avenue. Head west on Armitage and turn left onto N Kedzie Avenue. Turn right onto W Fullerton Avenue and continue for about half a mile until you reach your destination. Street parking is available but may be limited during peak hours, so plan accordingly.
