One of my personal favorite flans is the sweet plantains infused with rum raisins & cinnamon, we garnish it with warm maduros. This flan texture is perfect.

Mofongo de pernil is the mofongo for this month. We are open on Sundays 4pm till 8pm

We launched our full menu this past Thursday. One of our vegan items is this beauty called Isla verde, is a layer of mofongo, Honduran coconut rice & beans, then crowned with vegan carne frita, drizzled with chimi aioli sauce.
When making this dish I was trying to figure out different protein options that reminded me of home, fried pork chunks was one that was served with mofongo, being able to create a plant based was a bit challenging because yall know if I dont like it, it is not going on the menu. I think I nailed this one.
Don't forget today Saturday we open from 5pm till 10pm, you can reserve online, walk-ins are welcome but we highly recommend rsvp. See ya soon!!!!

In the background you see a picture of a Women! She was my mother in law, she came to this country from Guatemala 🇬🇹. She was a very powerful women that LOVED her family beyond words.
She shared alot of recipes with me that I hold dear to my heart. 3 leches cake was one of them, although this one is not her recipe because her recipe was not vegan and was not flavored 3 leches.
But everytime I come up with a 3 leches cake, I always remember the first time I tried hers and I can guaranteed that till this day I have not tried anything like hers. Thought I share who that beauty in the background was!

I can't even process how blessed I have been during this new journey, but I will tell you, there has been alot of tears, alot of the unknown, moments of fear, and the financial burden that sometimes giving up on your dream is easier.
Being closed for almost a year has been intense, playing catch up and staying on track is the hardest part for me.
When you all ask how you can help? Is by supporting us. We know support comes in different ways, some can dine-in, others can like, share or comment on our post for $0. Or if u see me in person give me a hug, I'm a hugger and sometimes is all I need!!!
Pero enserio!!! Mil gracias to those that have actually been present when I have needed to be checked on, your constant real love & genuine support has not been unnoticed. Los amo un mundo!!!!!!

We love to always support & collab with other small businesses, at our other location we partnered up with to put their cauliflower in our menu to provide more vegan options.
These cauliflower are breaded to perfection, and we smothered them with our housemade Guava BBQ sauce. They easily became a fan favorite.

My mami loves the tree I made with my dad help! Can u tell? Seeing her always saying something about her flamboyant tree always makes me happy!!!
Did you know it literally picked up dry branches to built this tree? I literally piece by piece brushed it, treated it, sprayed it & painted it. At the end all worth it when I see her so happy over it!!!
