This Sunday Cris Jacobs is making his way back to West Loop to recreate one of the most memorable Jerry Garcia Band shows ever: the Pirate's Ball on September 15, 1976.
The JGB crew was joined on the S.S. Duchess by fans, opening acts including Bo Diddley, and a rowdy cadre of Hell's Angels members running security. The concert took place during a five-hour cruise on the Hudson River, and the antics from the journey have cemented it as one of the most infamous JGB shows to take place. Join us this Sunday to celebrate the wild magic of that adventure, just over 50 years later.

SUSTO’s Justin Osborne is making his return tonight, so we’re looking back on his debut at Garcia’s last September. After the band played their final note he treated us to an unforgettable solo encore, which was a perfect teaser for his next visit to Chicago.
Justin will be taking the stage as a solo act again tonight, treating us to an evening of song and story along with Daniel Ray Hilsinger who will kick things off at 8pm.
