Was reminiscing and strolling and remembered that R U Hungry Chicago closed its doors at the top of its game.

Those who are in any type of business and actually care about your reputation (which is reflective of your service and products) know that it’s very difficult to get and maintain an almost 5 star rating on any platform. (Especially on Google)

June 30th is the anniversary of our closing but we will celebrate it with the release/selling of our SweetHeat and Mild Sauce.

It will be available in 16oz jars.

More information on how to purchase will be released closer to the release date.

We appreciate all who have supported us over the years and those who will continue to support in the future.

Greetings good people!

I know it’s been a while but I wanna take this time to thank all of our loyal supporters over the years and those who had just been introduced to R U Hungry.

We love and understand that without you all there wouldn’t have been no us.

I know many are waiting for our reopening and this post is to address that.

We are working tirelessly behind the scenes to be able to continue to bring the highest quality and best tasting food products available.

Due to an unforeseen accident we will be closed indefinitely until repairs are made to the building.

Saturday Juneteenth (June 19th) we will be closed so we can celebrate and participate in the many planned and unplanned festivities along with the people.

Due to the so called shortage on chicken wings the prices have skyrocketed and the quality has decreased so we haven’t been selling them for the last month.

We have been selling a lot of our delicious hand battered chicken breast tenders and 6oz chicken breast sandwiches though.😎

Add a cup of our homemade SweetHeat sauce to enhance the flavor.

To get to the fast food restaurant located at W 51st Street in Chicago, there are two transportation options available: public transport and driving/parking.

For public transport, you can take the bus to the 51st Street stop on the #9 or #44 line. From there, walk east for a few blocks until you reach the restaurant location.

If driving, take the I-90/94 and exit at Garfield Boulevard. Continue on Garfield Boulevard until you reach S Wentworth Avenue, where you will make a left turn. Drive north for a few blocks until you reach W 51st Street and make a right turn. The restaurant will be on your right-hand side.

There is street parking available near the restaurant as well as some parking lots nearby. However, be mindful of metered parking times and potential traffic congestion during peak hours.
