I attended a class by A Spoonful of Sprinkles this past weekend and it definitely makes me want to get into cookie decorating. I love the little details in these. Hopefully I can make this a reality later this year. 😊

Sometimes you see a recipe and you just want to know how it tastes… sooo you make it! This weekend’s creation was a Raspberry Almond Cake with a White Chocolate Amaretto Frosting.

A family recipe translated… Apfelstrudel… As a child, I remember my Tante Hilli making the most delicious apple strudel, both here and in Germany when we visited. I made it about 5 years ago, shortly after she passed, from a recipe my Oma translated and wrote out for me. I prepared some for Oma’s wake a little over a week ago.
