Today is our 10th birthday! Ten years ago when we opened Blackwood in the Loop, we didn’t know if people would come. And boy, did they come. Then we had to figure out how to get the fire department to stop coming when people thought the smoke from our smoker was the building on fire. And of course, there was the pandemic that caused us to temporarily close several stores for what felt like an eternity. It’s been a wild ten years and we want to celebrate that we are still here with you guys ten years later. We owe to the best team and the best customers.
