Since joining Tasty Catering four years ago, Joel Alanis has been a hardworking member of our Culinary team, contributing to the success of our operations as part of the TF Processors group.
Outside of work, Joel enjoys relaxing and driving around while listening to music. He’s a fan of Mexican food—especially tacos—and enjoys watching shows like Los Super Campeones. Time spent with family, especially his parents, is something he values most.

For 16 years, Cristy Mendez has brought creativity and passion to our Culinary team as a Pastry Chef, helping create delicious experiences for our guests.
Outside of work, Cristy enjoys shopping and staying active with Zumba classes. She loves pozole, sweet treats, and relaxing with Netflix. She has fond memories of visiting Las Vegas and hopes to continue making special memories—especially watching her grandchildren grow up. May is her favorite time of year, as it’s filled with birthday celebrations and Mother’s Day.

To get to Touhy Avenue in Elk Grove Village using public transport, you can take the Metra Milwaukee District North Line to the Des Plaines station. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi/ride-sharing service to Touhy Avenue.
If you prefer to drive, you can take I-90 W and exit onto Elmhurst Road heading south. Turn right onto Touhy Avenue and continue until you reach your destination. There should be parking available along Touhy Avenue or in nearby lots.
