This cocktail comes from our newest bartender Luke Morris who joined us after moving to Chicago with his partner earlier this year. Hailing from Austin, TX and previously working at the Dead Rabbit, he brings a passion for Tiki Cocktails and all things football.
Mayan Death Whistle
Jeppson’s Malört, Mezcal, Overproof Jamaican Rum, Trois Citrus, Sikil Pak Salsa, Beet, Lime
This cocktail is inspired by Sikil Pak, an Indigenous salsa from the Yucatán that uses pepitas, Roma tomatoes, onions, and burnt habaneros. The savory quality and bitterness of the salsa complement the Malört while the beet-infused rum float adds earthiness and spooky vibes.🎃

From downtown Chicago, you can take the CTA Orange Line train to Halsted Station and transfer to Bus Route 8. Get off at the intersection of Loomis St & Canalport Ave and walk south on Loomis St until you reach S Eleanor St. The American restaurant and gastropub is located in this street.
Alternatively, if driving, take I-90/94 W from downtown Chicago towards 31st Street exit. Turn left onto S Union Ave then right onto W 31st Street. Turn left onto S Loomis St and then right onto S Eleanor St where the restaurant is located. Limited street parking is available nearby but it's recommended to use a parking garage or lot nearby such as Mars Parking Lot or Park One Parking Lot.
