American restaurants are known for their delicious and hearty meals, and Duck Inn Chicago is no exception. This gastropub offers a unique combination of craft cocktails and locally sourced dining that will leave your taste buds wanting more. Located on the corner of Loomis Street and the Chicago River, Duck Inn Chicago is open Tuesday through Sunday, with extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays.
One thing that sets Duck Inn Chicago apart from other American restaurants is their Burger Lab. Their juicy beef patties are topped with griddled aged cheddar, balsamic onion jam, slab bacon, pickled green tomatoes, and duck-fil-a sauce - a mouth-watering combination that you won't find anywhere else.
But it's not just the food that makes Duck Inn Chicago a must-visit spot. Their In Bloom series features unique cocktails made with locally gathered ingredients like dandelion root, flower, and greens. The Martiniquan Rhum-based cocktail is mixed with amaretto, alpine amaro, cascara, coriander bitters, and garnished with a tasty dandelion green chip.
And if you can't make it to the restaurant in person, don't worry - they now offer nationwide shipping so you can enjoy their delicious food from anywhere in the country. Plus, their duck fat hot dogs are available at Al's Supermarket in Michigan City for those looking to stock up for summer.
Overall, Duck Inn Chicago is a fantastic American restaurant that combines great food and drinks with a cozy atmosphere. It's no wonder they've been recognized as an honorable mention by local publications.
