America's Dog & Burger Navy Pier and O'Hare Airport are looking for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) who excels in restaurant operations and is looking to take their career to the next level. The AGM oversees purchasing, monitors the cost of goods sold, and the maintenance to-do list. Works with the GM on projecting future sales and setting the hiring needs, labor cost and labor cost projections

Job Responsibilities
• Manage with integrity and knowledge to promote the culture and beliefs of America’s Dog & Burger
• Lead and motivate team members through positive and respectful leadership
• Manage the restaurant to meet company standards in food quality, food safety and cleanliness
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members and assess performance on an ongoing basis
• Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service
• Train and coach team members in culinary and guest service principles and practices
• Follow AD&B operational policy and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security to ensure the safety of all team members and guests
• Train, develop and manage restaurant team members and shift managers
• Follow inventory control procedures and guidelines
• Establish and delegate work duties in each area utilizing prep and checklists
• Assist with scheduling, expense tracking, labor management and local restaurant marketing

Experience
• High School diploma or GED required
• Minimum of one year prior progressively responsible and related restaurant/retail experience and one year of management and/or leadership experience

For those using public transportation, take the #112 bus towards 95th/Dan Ryan CTA Station. Exit at Western Avenue & 91st Street and walk one block south to reach your destination.

If driving, take I-294 and exit at 95th Street. Head east on 95th Street until you reach Western Avenue, then turn left and head south for about half a mile. There is a parking lot available for customers to use.
