From downtown Chicago, take the Red Line train towards Howard and get off at the North and Clybourn station. Walk east on North Ave for about 10 minutes until you reach Halsted St. Turn left on Halsted St and walk for another 2 minutes.
If driving, take Lake Shore Drive north and exit at North Ave. Head west on North Ave for about 2 miles until you reach Halsted St. Turn left on Halsted St and drive for another block or two until you find parking in the area. There are several paid parking lots nearby as well as metered street parking options.
