Fun fact: Tif’s father has been a baker for over 50 years. Her first gig was frosting donuts and making muffins at his bakery in Zion, IL. This year Chef Guy, Chef Arie and Tif are going back to CJ’s to make paczki for you! Dad, whose first grandchild called him “Papa Donut” is excited to have the family around the old stomping grounds.

1. For the modern European restaurant, take the Blue Line and get off at the Chicago Avenue station. Walk west on Chicago Avenue for about 5 blocks. If driving, take I-90/94 and exit at Augusta Boulevard. Turn left onto Oakley Boulevard, then right onto Chicago Avenue.
2. For the Korean restaurant, take the Brown Line or Purple Line and get off at the Chicago/Franklin station. Walk north on Franklin Street for about 3 blocks, then turn left onto Superior Street and continue for about 1 block until you reach West Chicago Avenue. If driving, take I-90/94 and exit at Ohio Street. Turn right onto Orleans Street, then left onto Superior Street, and continue until you reach West Chicago Avenue.
3. For the Eastern European restaurant, take the Green Line or Pink Line and get off at the Morgan station. Walk south on Morgan Street for about 4 blocks, then turn right onto Lake Street and continue for about 1 block until you reach West Chicago Avenue. If driving, take I-290 W and exit at Ashland Boulevard North. Turn right onto Lake Street and continue until you reach West Chicago Avenue.
Parking options may vary depending on availability in each area but street parking or nearby parking garages are usually available near these locations.
