After so many months of hard work, we're delighted to announce that The Eco Cafe is opening this Saturday, March 8th!

An extension of The Eco Flamingo store and mission, The Eco Cafe will serve coffee, cold brew, tea, kombucha on tap, and tasty treats from some fabulous local bakers and chefs. You can get package free goodies in our refillable deli section that will include yogurt, cheese, hummus, mushrooms, and more by the oz! The cafe will also have a retail section with books on sustainability and DIY, fun reusable drinkware and containers, herbal medicines and eco-friendly gifts.

To reduce waste, The Eco Cafe will not have disposable cups or containers, instead we ask you to BYOC: Bring Your Own Container, or you can take advantage of our reusable cup and takeout container rental system: Forever Ware.

We're very excited for you all to experience the warmth and heart of our new space. Every inch was thoughtfully considered, from our ceiling made of burlap coffee bags and custom tiles designed by artist friends of the store to a small 'treasure box' for our younger visitors and more! Come for a beverage, snack, meal, or to work remotely — whatever your reason, we’re happy to have you!

The cafe will be open Tuesdays-Sundays, 7:30 am-5:00 pm, with our workshops and community events continuing in the cafe after hours.

We can’t wait to share our vision with the community and look forward to seeing you all there!
