Southside of Chicago ( Ida B. Wells projects ) native Andre Haynes ( ) just purchased a portfolio of land on the southside under the tutelage of Dr. Johnny Mullins ( ) to start his development journey!

After meeting Johnny at Jemal Kings ( ) make real estate real retreat in the Dominican Republic back in September Andre expressed to Johnny that he wanted to scale his real estate business but wasn’t sure how to do it.

Johnny was happy to assist because as a world renowned developer, architect, engineer, and community psychologist one of his main goals is to help create more black developers. This is the power of getting in rooms and networking with intent.

So when the opportunity came he sent Andre a deal and asked did he have the cash to purchase the land as the investor while he’d take care of design/construction & teach him along the way? Thats called a JV ( Joint Venture/partnership ) and the easiest way for you to get into new construction/development.

Of course Andre had the cash after just selling one of his 4unit properties. So he put in an offer on the land & it got accepted! Now he’s the owner of a half a block on the southside and starting his development journey through a joint venture!
