Botanical Cafe is super excited to expand our Filipino wall art! Kenny is a Filipino-Canadian artist who has worked with Netflix, Disney, Sony and Pixar on various projects. His art on our wall represents a group of Manghuhula, Mambabarang, Albularyo, and Babaylan (these are different magic users across the Philippines). We also have Kenny’s depiction of Filipino Demon Hunters: P-Pop Demon Hunters. Each hunter represents one of the three major island groups: Mindanao, Luzon, and Visayas.

Wow, this was our busiest weekend in the 6 years we've been open! Thank you SO much for all the love this Valentine's weekend. Between our walk-in customers, flights, and tea time, you had us moving & grooving! We're incredibly grateful!

Unfortunately, we didn't anticipate the inventory needed for this past weekend and we are once again nearly out of beans! We decided to close at 2 because what's a coffee shop with out coffee? Although we do have plenty of cold brew 😁

Hey everyone!

First of all, thank you! We were slammed all weekend because of all of you wonderful folks ❤️ It's been a long time since we've been that busy and we're incredibly grateful ☺️

Unfortunately, because we were so busy, we didn't have an adequate bean inventory for this week. At this moment, we are out of all beans except decaf and a little bit of Yeti's in our espresso hopper. If you came in today or yesterday and thought your espresso-based drink tasted a little different, it's because we had to use Yeti's Revenge. It's not bad, but definitely tastes different than the Brothers.

Since we're out of 90% of our coffee, we've decided it would be best to close early today. We thought 1pm would allow people tome to pop in and grab a cold brew, chai, matcha, or decaf latte.

Thank you so much for your understanding! Also, thanks to our customers this weekend, we were able to donate $350 to the ACLU!! Unfortunately we went to donate to Tending the Soil only to realize that it wasn't it's own organization, but a coalition of 5 organizations. We decided it's best to just donate the full 20% to ACLU.
