Our Delivery Drivers' main responsibility is to deliver Sandwiches to our customers in the designated delivery area. Drivers are expected to check all orders for accuracy against quality standards and deliver orders to our customers in a safe, courteous and timely manner. Drivers will also work as an In-shopper when no deliveries are scheduled. We provide VERY flexible schedules--from 3 to 7 hour scheduled shifts and from 2 to 5 days. Candidates must be available for at least 3 nights (from 2/3/4/5pm until 10pm) every week, one of which must be Saturday evenings.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of driving experience (not necessarily delivering) after receiving their driver's license to qualify for this position.

Potential Delivery Drivers for Jimmy John's in Downtown Elgin MUST have insurance in their name on the vehicle they will be using for deliveries and a "clean" driving record. This position also requires the Candidate to be willing and able to work In-Shop when not out-of-shop delivering.

We are currently looking for all shifts (lunch and/or dinner (to 10pm)) on all days. Candidates MUST be available to work at least three evening shifts (and probably scheduled at least two) each week until 10pm, one of which must be Saturdays (2 or 3 or 4 or 5pm to 10pm). Depending on your availability, you may be able to get 12-36 hours scheduled each week

To get to S. Grove Avenue in Elgin, you can take the Metra Milwaukee District West line to the Elgin station and then transfer to the Pace bus route 552. Get off at Grove Avenue and you will be close to your destination.

If you prefer to drive, take I-90 W towards Elgin and exit at Route 31. Turn right onto Route 31 and then turn left onto Lawrence Avenue. Follow Lawrence Avenue until it intersects with S. Grove Avenue, where you can park near your destination.
