El Holdó on W. Division Street in Chicago is a hot dog joint that stands out from the rest with its unique Puerto Rican Crillo Hot Dog. This street cart favorite from the Caribbean has been given a Chicago twist, resulting in a delicious and satisfying meal. The locally produced Vienna Beef Hot dogs are firm and juicy, topped with traditional picadillo (Puerto Rican seasoned ground beef) for a meaty base. The addition of sauerkraut and sweet sautéed onions perfectly complement the savory meat and spices. To add some dimension and texture, El Holdó drizzles their house mixed MayoKetchup (Garlic Mayonnaise and Ketchup Sauce) and Cheese sauces, finishing it off with a sprinkle of shoestring potatoes. This combination of flavors creates an explosion in your mouth that will leave you wanting more. If you're looking for a unique hot dog experience, El Holdó is definitely worth checking out!
