TNT Ramen is a forthcoming ramen restaurant and Japanese dining establishment that embodies the spirit of community and connection through its culinary offerings. Set to open in Fall 2024, TNT Ramen is dedicated to not only serving delicious ramen but also fostering opportunities within the community. The restaurant is proudly Black- and women-led, with a mission focused on increasing access to fresh produce across Chicago, backed by a nonprofit initiative.
The establishment has begun hiring for various roles including dishwashers, bussers, cooks, and servers, welcoming potential candidates to bring their resumes for open interviews. Additionally, the branding of TNT Ramen features striking signage created by local artist Derric Clemmons from South Worx Arte Group. His work draws inspiration from his Chicago roots and incorporates elements of jazz and R&B along with influences from iconic artists such as Basquiat and Jacob Lawrence.
