It’s impossible to celebrate 10 years of selling sandwiches without thinking of the incredible people who have worked for us. All of those hours standing at the slicer, hefting bags of flour, pouring wine, stamping bags, and making each other laugh somehow add up to a whole decade. These are some of the people who have made Danke into the place that it is today. Our sandwiches are delicious because they are made by real people, who care about what they are doing. We are grateful for everyone who has come through the stall, whether or not their faces are in these little rectangles. I wish I had more pictures to share, but some folks manage to hide as soon as the camera comes out...

For our 10th birthday, we’re charging just $10 for the sandwich that started it all: The Secret Sandwich! This started as an off-menu bar special Table, Donkey and Stick and we knew it had to be on our menu when we opened the Revival Food Hall in 2016. It’s an unbeatable combo: crusty sourdough baguette, housemade duck liver mousse, smoked pickled onions, porchetta, emmental cheese, grainy mustard, and fresh arugula.

Danke, located on S Clark Street in Chicago, is a must-visit for anyone looking for a delicious sandwich and wine experience. This sandwich shop and wine bar specializes in fresh, house-made bread that will leave your taste buds craving more. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to escape the heat or wind down after a long day.

One of the standout features of Danke is their impressive selection of wines. They offer a variety of unique options that you won't find at your average restaurant or bar. Their "Weird Wine Wednesday" promotion is especially exciting, featuring out-of-the-norm wines until they're gone. The Pét-Nat Thillardon is a recent highlight, crafted by brothers Paul-henri and Charles Thillardon from 100% Gamay.

In addition to their wine selection, Danke also offers meat and cheese plates that pair perfectly with their beverages. And for those looking for something on the healthier side, they have an array of veggie options as well.

Overall, Danke provides a fantastic dining experience with quality food and drinks in a welcoming environment. It's no wonder why this sandwich shop and wine bar has become such a popular spot in Revival Food Hall.
