Having been established in 1985, we have been inexorably tied to the ‘85 Chicago Bears, and of course, Coach Ditka for over 40 years. His visage has adorned our walls since Day 1 and his legacy will continue to live on here at Sluggers for as long as we’re still standing as one of the last TRUE SPORTS BARS in the city(and anywhere for that matter). Sure, we show every NFL game, but first and foremost, we are a BEARS bar. Full stop. Our condolences go out to Coach Ditka’s family and Bears fans around the world, but always know that you can raise a toast to Da Coach any day with us. RIP Coach. BEAR DOWN and BEAT GREEN BAY. GO BEARS!

Introducing the first ever Herb Light Low-High B**r Pong Classic. A 20-team round-robin tournament where the winners get two “Low-High” seats to the Chicago Bears home opener vs. the Minnesota Vikings.
