Tomorrow night, we're pairing two of our favorite Wednesday traditions. 🍷🎶

Join us on the patio from 6 to 9pm for live music with Elaine Dame, a glass (or two) of something you love, and a summer evening at the Firehouse.

And because Wednesdays call for a good bottle on the table, enjoy half-off bottles of w**e all evening. Reserve w**es excluded.

The final Wednesdays of summer are worth making plans for. We'll see you on the patio.

For the w**e people, this one’s for you. 🍷

We recently got our hands on a special collection of w**es that you don’t often have the opportunity to taste by the glass, including highly sought-after bottles from Spottswoode and Pride Mountain Vineyards.

Normally the kind of w**es you’d commit to by the bottle, we’re pouring this lineup by the glass for a limited time, giving you the chance to discover something exceptional without choosing just one.

Consider this your reason to make Wednesday w**e night a little more interesting.

Available in-house while the bottles last.

What people say

The Chicago Firehouse Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for classic and inventive American steakhouse fare. Located in the South Loop, this historic building was originally designed as a firehouse for Engine Company 104 and is now a designated Chicago Landmark. The renovations made to the restaurant reflect thoughtful attention to turn of the century design elements while maintaining the building's beauty and heritage.

Upon entering through the firehouse's original doorway on 14th Street, guests will find a large bar area, hand-painted mural, 12 patterned tin ceiling, original Tiffany glazed brick, custom millwork and tufted banquettes. The now 15,000 square foot steakhouse offers a spacious solarium with floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the restaurant with natural light and a state-of-the-art kitchen visible from various vantage points.

The first floor's bar area, main dining room and solarium offer seating for 215 guests. The second floor is dedicated to private event space and can accommodate parties of up to 250 guests. This level's renovation includes sun-filled spaces with walnut paneled walls, reclaimed wood floors and beautifully handcrafted doors. Two large parlor rooms (Palmer Parlor and Kimball Parlor) were aptly named for the first families of Chicago who resided on Prairie Avenue. The Mayor's Room is handsomely designed with a fireplace and 11-foot doors.

The menu at The Chicago Firehouse Restaurant features classic American steakhouse dishes as well as inventive new creations that are sure to please any palate. Whether you're in the mood for a perfectly cooked steak or something more adventurous like their signature Lobster Mac & Cheese or Grilled Octopus appetizer, you won't be disappointed.
