Meet Cecil Rodriguez, our June Tacos 4 Strength chef. A fixture in Chicago kitchens for 23 years, Cecil has worked everywhere from neighborhood bars to Michelin-rated restaurants. In 2017, he launched his private dining concept, FatCap, paying homage to neighborhood food culture through his pop-up dinners.
Cecil’s culinary philosophy is simple: “I just want to feed people. Everyone deserves to have good food at all price points. The goal is to make delicious food.” For us, he’s serving up a Puerto Rican take on enfrijoladas. Stop by to give them a try starting June 3rd.

To get to the Mexican restaurant at W. Kinzie in Chicago, you can take the Brown Line to the Merchandise Mart station and then walk east on Kinzie for about 10 minutes. If you're driving, you can park at the lot on the corner of Kinzie and Wells and then walk a few blocks east. Another option is to take a bus that stops at Kinzie and Orleans, which is just a couple of blocks away from the restaurant.
