Six iterations. One extraordinary evening.
Earlier this month we welcomed to Alinea for our Alinea Group Wine Dinner Series, celebrating the launch of Grand Siècle No. 27.
Hosted by Michelle DeFeo, President of Laurent-Perrier US, and special guest Maximilien de Nonancourt it was an evening exploring one of Champagne’s most revered houses.

Over the past several months, we've had the pleasure of pouring Champagne Laurent-Perrier’s newest innovation, Héritage.
Crafted entirely from reserve wines, Héritage is a bold first for any Champagne House and a fitting pairing for a celebration two decades in the making. From Chicago to Brooklyn, Miami, and soon in Beverly Hills, Laurent-Perrier has helped us mark our 20th anniversary milestone with elegance and intention.
We’re grateful to the Laurent-Perrier team for entrusting us with their U.S. Héritage debut and for raising a glass with us along the way. Cheers to you! 🥂

The Dessert Room, the final stop in our Alinea X Olmsted progression
To reach the last course of the menu, guests were ushered across the street to an entirely new location. There, they were served our iconic dessert mat—reimagined with a Brooklyn twist—alongside a Milk Punch cocktail featuring Harmony III and Mocha Chai.
The final touch? The balloon.

As we reflect, we think of our team—the opportunities, growth and gratitude to work together. To get to the American restaurant and molecular gastronomy restaurant located on N Halsted Street in Chicago, you can take the CTA Brown Line train to Diversey Station, then transfer to the #76 bus heading northbound. Get off at the intersection of Halsted and Willow Street and walk south.
If you prefer driving, take Lake Shore Drive and exit at Belmont Ave heading west. Turn right onto Halsted Street and continue north until you reach the restaurant. There is street parking available nearby or a parking garage located at Sheffield Avenue and School Street.
