Firehouse Dogs Firehouse Dogs was a fast food restaurant and hot dog joint located at 1820 W Irving Park Road. They offered fresh-made Italian beef and home-cut fries with every order. On October 25th, they announced that they would not be able to renew their lease and their last day of operation would be November 5th. Firehouse Dogs had plans to reopen in a new location in January, but unfortunately, this business has been permanently closed.

Well this is the day it's kind of been my son just informed me that it was literally one o'clock when I posted.Julie is on site marking where the electrical lines are,comed should be here within an hour.

A little glitch in our last day open,unfortunately we had a major power outage to the restaurant comed is working on it but as of right now we are going to have to close our doors I will let everybody know once the issued is resolved,comed has anticipated around 1pm.

We would like to announce that we are not able to renew our lease.
The good news is that we have an offer pending . Our last day will probably be November 5th.

We anticipate the new location will reopen sometime in January. The same menu and the same knuckleheads will be running the joint.(Jim and Frank)

This is what we love about what we do here. Just a nice feeling that we were able to bring joy to someones day.

Firehouse Dogs catered for us seniors at The Barn, in Schaumburg, on Wednesday Nov. 18th. It was soooo good and plentiful. I had The chicken sandwich and fruit for lunch. For supper I had the best cream of chicken soup & salad. I wanted to send a thank you email, but I couldn't find one.Thank you!!

To get to the location on W Irving Park Road in Schaumburg, you can take public transportation by taking the train to the Schaumburg Metra station and then taking a bus or taxi to the destination.
