Today's dinner was fried porkchops. And boy did my son s**e me out today🤣
I gave samples while cooking as I always do and I asked all the kids and they said it was great. I got to Jaden and he chews it realllllll slow and is silent. I ask him if it needs anything or if its good.
This boy looks at with me and says no mom its not good and just waits. Then he gets the biggest grin and goes "IT'S HEAVENLY!". Needless to say plates were scarfed down today❤️🤣🤣
For the porkchop marinade :
Mustard
Smoked paprika
Creole
Lemon pepper
Paprika
Seasoned salt
Pepper
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Parsley
Oregano
And a smidgen of pickle juice.
For the coating: equal parts flour and corn starch, plus all seasoning listed above.
Coat, let rest 5-10 minutes then coat again.
Fry on med. High for 4-6 minutes per side depending on thickness

It's been a long week in our house. Between a virus that hit all 7 of us and one of my boys having surgery. Not much real cooking was done. Had to hit the comfort spot with my Nanas Goulash yesterday. What are some easier dinner ideas that you've had?

Philly cheese steak eggrolls ❤️
(Use whatever cut of beef you like and slice, I use ribeye)
Saute meat, diced onion and diced bell pepper in the following spices: garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, seasoned salt, pepper, tumeric, ground celery seed, soy sauce and Worcestershire.
Place in egg roll wrap with half a slice of provolone and shredded mozzarella, and fry.
For the au jus it's the above spices with water and cornstarch until desired thickness.

Shrimp Alfredo, steak, and baked taters.
For the shrimp Alfredo I will be posting a video tutorial tomorrow but steps are as follows.
Toss shrimp in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, pepper, seasoned salt, slap ya mama, parsley and old bay then cook in butter until fully cooked. Set aside.
In the same pan saute a chopped onion in the remaining butter and minced garlic. Remove and set aside.
In that pan add a block of cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, half a container of Parmesan cheese and the same ingredients as above.
Take your shrimp and chop half of it. Once sauce has melted down add chopped shrimp and onions. Add the remaining Parmesan, black pepper and heavy whipping cream until desired thickness.
Toss the sauce with cooked noodles, top with remaining shrimp and serve.

Carne asada tacos
For the marinade:
Equal part lime juice and orange juice
A couple tbsp of soy sauce
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Chili powder
Salt
Tajin
Adobo (I used about half a packet)
Cilantro
Onion
Marinade at least 24 hours
Drain and fry in a few tbsp of oil.
After this step while waiting for the sides to cook I like to add some of the juicer to simmer so it doesn't dry out.
Top with your choice of topping and serve
