This isn’t talked about enough. Programs like are preserving culture, building discipline, and giving Chicago youth a powerful creative outlet through steel pan music. What makes this even more special is that the steel pans the students perform on are made and tuned right here in Chicago. 🇹🇹🥁🇺🇸

Congratulations to on bringing home 2nd place at the Virginia International PANfest. The talent, dedication, and cultural pride on display is incredible. Chicago should be proud. ❤️🔥

Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful women. 🌸

Today, we also honor the women who may not have children of their own but still pour love, guidance, and motherly care into others. We also hold space for those missing their mothers today, as we know this day can bring both love and emotion.

May every woman who nurtures, uplifts, and loves be celebrated today. 💐

“This one sat with me…

Years ago I said I was going to master roti. I didn’t know what it would take, I just knew I meant it.

To have someone remember that… and see it now… that’s a full circle moment for me.

“You did it like you said you would.”

That part right there.

We’ll be here when you come through ❤️”
