Hello everyone again! I’ll be sharing this post and updates along the way since I have officially begun the marathon training. While I continue to look for support in this adventure, I’m reaching out to you all for songs that you think will inspire me while on this journey. As some of these runs can be taxing, I’m using music to soothe my soul, and well, my body😳🤭. So what do you think? I do have a long Christian play list but welcome yours as well. I’ve also been “stepping” out to Motown, ZZ Top and many others. What’s your favorite song that will help inspire me along my path?

Hi friends!

Many of you have walked alongside me through different seasons of life, and I’ve seen God’s faithfulness through this community time and time again.

This year, I feel Him calling me into something new, and honestly, a little stretching. I’m running the Chicago Marathon with Team World Vision to help bring clean water to communities in need.

Clean water is something many of us never have to think twice about, but it changes everything for those who don’t have it.

Tomorrow (Friday, March 20) is World Water Day, and donations will be matched starting at 8am so your impact can go even further.

If you feel led to support, I would be so grateful, whether through giving, sharing, or praying for me along the way. And if you’re able, sharing this post with your friends and family would mean so much too.

Our VFW is proud to host the 6th Annual Adopt‑A‑Soldier Fundraiser on April 26th, 2026 from 12–7 PM at VFW Post 2801 in Villa Park.
Join us for a day filled with raffles, live music, and a 50/50 split‑the‑pot — all to support care packages for our deployed heroes.
Your participation helps remind our soldiers that their community stands with them. ❤️🇺🇸

To all my amazing customers, I cannot thank you enough for all of your support❣️ Trying to survive a crazy economy is so challenging for all of us and I can’t even begin to express my gratitude to you all for continuing to support me on these special treat days as well as throughout the year. We were giving out silicone bracelets yesterday with scripture words of encouragement to enjoy throughout lent. If you did not make it in, feel free to stop in and grab one. I appreciate you always❣️

To get to S Villa Avenue in Villa Park via public transport, take the Metra UP-W Union Pacific West Line and get off at the Villa Park Station. From there, walk south on Ardmore Avenue for about 1 block until you reach S Villa Avenue. The bakery is located on this street.

If driving, take I-290 W to exit 10 for IL-83 N/Kingery Hwy. Merge onto IL-83 N/Kingery Hwy and continue straight for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Madison St and then turn left onto Ardmore Ave. Finally, turn right onto S Villa Ave. Parking is available along the street or in nearby parking lots.
