Fannie's

Fannie's Fannie's was a breakfast and brunch restaurant, as well as a coffee shop with a street location on N. Milwaukee Avenue. It was known for its quality products, which were made by hand from scratch, and its community gathering space that promoted craft and community. Fannie's had a bakery that offered fantastic baked goods along with good food and good coffee. The business posted on social media multiple times towards the end of October 2021 to let customers know about their last days of baking and to invite them to visit for one more time before they closed permanently.

Friends! With a limited capacity on bakers and staff, threat of not great weather and orders to fill we've decided to concentrate all of our efforts on stocking our shop tomorrow and will not be at the Farmers Markets.

Please stop in 4042 N Milwaukee for our last day to get your Fannie's fix. That will be the only place you'll find us and the baked goodness tomorrow. We'd love to see you!

Its no secret that small businesses are struggling. We are surely no exception.

Here is my ask- come see us, order from us, and celebrate a small business that survived every imaginable (and unimaginable) hardship a business can face.
PLEASE No platitudes or sad comments. We've heard it, we know it, its too hard.

Celebrate what we did, eat delicious bakery items, give us a high five and good vibes for the future

Then keep supporting your local businesses. Support the ones in your neighborhood. Know your power as the local consumer and put your money where your house is.

To get to the location on N. Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago, you can take the Blue Line train and get off at the Logan Square station. From there, walk north on Milwaukee Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach the destination.

If driving, take I-90/94 and exit at Fullerton Avenue. Head west on Fullerton and turn right onto Milwaukee Avenue. Look for parking options along Milwaukee or nearby side streets.
