12 years ago on May 14th, Parachute began as a neighborhood spot and a dream. A place to bring people together through a Korean American lens.
We still have the same heart, just sound turned up! 🎶
We’re celebrating with some of our dear chef friends ✨ stepping behind the decks for the night!
Doug Sohn (the mind behind Hot Doug’s, The Sausage Superstore, a Chicago Icon. These days he’s still keeping it fun at Wrigley Field with Hot Doug’s concession stand.). A very special inspired vinyl set with will get us into the groove from 5-7 pm!
Erick Williams (James Beard Award–winning chef and founder of Virtue Hospitality Group, leading with soulful cooking and real community impact) We are looking forward to his favorite records at 7-8 pm!
Diana Dávila (Food & Wine Best New Chef whose work celebrates the depth and evolution of Mexican cuisine as well as community advocate with and comadre in !❤️💃🏻) She’ll be grooving at 8-9 pm.

Our Women’s History Month pour.
A Negroni-inspired blend with (a woman-made spirit we’re proud to partner with), Sannaewool bokbunjaju, Apologue persimmon liqueur, and a housemade blood orange shrub. Finished with a fun orange foam instead of the typical orange peel.
All March, we’re donating $1 from every cocktail to The Abundance Setting — founded by our own Beverly Kim. The Abundance Setting encourages and supports the advancement of women and working mothers in the culinary & hospitality industry to have a thriving career while maintaining a quality life at home.
This year The Abundance setting is supporting childcare grants for working mothers in the restaurant industry. Help us reach our goals by stopping in and grabbing one this month!

To get to the American restaurant on N Elston Avenue in Chicago, you can take the Blue Line train to Logan Square station and then walk south on Milwaukee Avenue until you reach Elston Avenue. Alternatively, you can take bus number 56 or 82 to Elston/Milwaukee and walk north on Elston Avenue.
If driving, take the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94) to the Addison Street exit and head west. Turn left onto Elston Avenue and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. Limited street parking is available in the surrounding area, but there is also a paid parking lot across the street from the restaurant.
