If you’ve been here for my sweet creations, you know how much I love making things that bring a little joy into someone’s day.

But today, I get to step out of the kitchen and share something different. Something meaningful.
Something I’ve carried in my heart for a long time.

Writing has been in my blood ever since I was a teenager. I’ve written so many short stories over the years and always dreamed of becoming a writer… and now I’ve been given the opportunity to do it .

Bear Your Light is a gentle story about kindness, light, and the little things that can make a big difference in the world.

Here are the travel directions for the dessert shop and restaurant located on W. Devon Avenue in Chicago:

Public Transport:
- Take CTA Red Line train to Granville Station
- Walk west on W. Granville Avenue towards N. Glenwood Ave
- Turn right onto N. Glenwood Ave and continue south
- Turn left onto W. Devon Ave and walk east
- The dessert shop and restaurant will be on your left-hand side.

Driving/Parking:
- Drive to W. Devon Avenue in Chicago
- If coming from downtown, take Lake Shore Drive northbound and exit at Hollywood Ave.
- Turn right on to Sheridan Road and continue driving northbound.
- Turn right onto West Devon Avenue and drive eastwards
- The dessert shop and restaurant will be located on your left-hand side.
- Metered street parking is available along West Devon Ave or there is a public parking lot at the intersection of North Damen & West Arthur Avenues.
