Hi friends!
We know it’s been a little while since we’ve popped on here, but trust us… we haven’t been sitting still!
We’ve been busy creating, writing books, doing podcasts, filling orders, and working on a few things we can’t wait to share with you. We’ve been growing and evolving in ways we simply couldn’t have done a few years ago. One of those projects may or may not involve a cookbook… but that’s still under wraps!
We’ve also received a few messages asking if we’re okay, and the answer is YES! We are totally ok! We’re excited about this season and all that’s ahead for everyone!
Our storefront was only a small chapter of our story. Mona’s Sweet Spot was always so much more than a place…it’s family.
And just in case anyone is wondering… NO I’m not done baking! I may not be doing it full-time anymore, but as long as someone calls and says, “Mona, can you make me a cake?” … chances are, I’m still saying yes. So please don’t hesitate to ask!
Things may look a little different these days, but Mona is still here.. That building was only a chapter of our story and the Author is not finished with us just yet! ❤️

- Take CTA Red Line train to Granville Station
- Walk west on W. Granville Avenue towards N. Glenwood Ave
- Turn right onto N. Glenwood Ave and continue south
- Turn left onto W. Devon Ave and walk east
- The dessert shop and restaurant will be on your left-hand side.
Driving/Parking:
- Drive to W. Devon Avenue in Chicago
- If coming from downtown, take Lake Shore Drive northbound and exit at Hollywood Ave.
- Turn right on to Sheridan Road and continue driving northbound.
- Turn right onto West Devon Avenue and drive eastwards
- The dessert shop and restaurant will be located on your left-hand side.
- Metered street parking is available along West Devon Ave or there is a public parking lot at the intersection of North Damen & West Arthur Avenues.
